Dutch striker of Ghanaian descent, Brian Brobbey netted a brace on Sunday afternoon to lead Ajax to defeat FC Utrecht 3-0 in the Dutch Eredivisie.

The youngster left Ajax last summer to sign for German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig.

Unfortunately, he could not settle in to secure a place in the starting eleven. As a result, the Dutch giants went in to bring him back to the club this winter.

Following a good spell with the team during a mid-season training camp, Brian Brobbey today started for Ajax when the team played as a guest to FC Utrecht.

With the opportunity to lead the lines, the striker netted twice in the 19th and 45th minutes respectively.

With Antony opening the scoring for the visitors in the 5th minute, it complemented the brace from Brian Brobbey to give Ajax a massive 3-0 win as the side stays top of the Eredivisie standings.
