Ghanaian international Ebenezer Assifuah has commenced training with his new teammates at French lower division side Pau FC.

The former Ghana U-20 star completed a transfer to the French Ligue 2 outfit in June on a free transfer after ending his stint with Le Havre.

Due to the completion of the 2019/2020 football season as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic at that time, he had to stay home and wait until the team assembled for pre-season.

This week, the club has called all of its players to start training with Ebenezer Assifuah meeting his new teammates for the first team.

The striker joined the players as they enjoyed light training. The sessions are expected to intensify under strict Covid-19 safety protocols in subsequent weeks.

The former Sion man is hoping to show great form in training to earn the trust of the technical handlers of the club in order to be able to earn starting roles for Pau FC when the next season starts.

Having been left frustrated last season where he only featured in 6 games for Le Havre, Assifuah is looking forward to a better campaign in the 2020/2021 season.
