Edwin Gyasi’s stellar performance earn him high ratings in Samsunspor’s draw against Menemenspor

Ghana international Edwin Gyasi put up an outstanding performance on Tuesday evening when his Samsunspor’s outfit drew 1-1 against Menemenspor in the TFF 1 League.

Having regained his full fitness after missing some matches at the start of the 2020/2021 Turkish lower-tier league season, the forward has now taken the league by storm.

He continuously perform at the top level when called into action and is gradually establishing himself as a main man for the team.

In a clash against Menemenspor today, Edwin Gyasi started from the bench but was introduced in the second half in the 78th minute to replace İlyas Kubilay Yavuz.

The exciting winger dazzled with his attacking displays at the Samsun 19 Mayıs Stadyumu and helped Samsunspor to earn a point at the end of the 90 minutes.

On the matchday, Nadir Ciftci scored in the 13th minute to draw level for the home team after an own goal from Guy Yameogo had given Menemenspor the lead in the 5th minute.

With an outstanding performance today, Edwin Gyasi looks set for a starting role for Samsunspor in the upcoming weekend when the team plays as a guest to Bursaspor in the TFF 1 League.
