Much-maligned Ghana defender Edwin Gyimah was on target for Helsingborg in the Swedish second-tier in a 3-3 draw with Varberg on Sunday.

Gyimah scored the opening goal of the match in the 18th minute with a low shot before his teammates Jesper Lange and Andreas Landgren scored to give Helsing a deserved 3-0 lead.

However, Varberg fought back and equalised after goals by Elias Andersson, Joakim- Lindner and Peter Nystrom.

Gyimah has now made three league appearances for Helsingborg in the Superettan after his free transfer last month.
