Orlando Pirates head coach Muhsin Ertugral has lauded the warrior-like qualities of Ghana international Edwin Gyimah.

The 25-year-old defender-come-midfielder has started Pirates' first two competitive matches under Ertugral.

The Turkish tactician praised the former SuperSport United and Mpumalanga Black Aces star as a true warrior.

“Gyimah, like my other international players, have not had much rest. But he is a real warrior and will play," Ertugral told Daily Sun.

The former Kaizer Chiefs coach went on to reveal that they worked on new systems during the Fifa international break.

“We did a lot of work despite the fact we had a lot of players away on international duty. I’m working on getting the players more organised on the field," he said.

Pirates will face Ertugral's former side Ajax Cape Town in a PSL match at the Cape Town Stadium in the Mother City on Tuesday.
