Former Ghana international Emmanuel Osei Kuffour has expressed his worry about Hearts of Oak and Kotoko’s inability to snap up top players in the country.

Both Hearts and Kotoko have struggled to attract the best players in the local scene in recent times as compared to previous years.

However, Kuffour who featured for both teams before retirement has entreated the two most glamorous clubs to restructure their recruitment plans in order to secure the services of the best players in the country.

“During our time, all the best players in the country were always joining us, but it’s different now,” Kuffour explained. “Hearts and Kotoko are not attracting the best of players anymore, and it is a major worry. Their management should sit up and restructure their recruitment plans well.”

With four matches to end this season’s league, Aduana lead the table with Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko occupying fifth and sixth points respectively.
