Empoli interested in signing midfielder Godfred Donsah

Published on: 28 June 2021

A new name for the Empoli market which should start with the first official movements in the next few days. Defense is certainly the department currently under the magnifying glass, but as already mentioned, all departments will be "hit" by incoming and outgoing operations. As for the midfield, we are looking at an alternative from Stulac (who must demonstrate that he has the pace from A) and more, and the new name is that of the Ghanaian born in 1996, Godfred Donsah.

Owned by Bologna, Donsah returns from his loan in Turkey where he played with a decent return for Caykur Rizespor. The player is said to be leaving and from under the donkey towers they confirm that Empoli may be interested in a definitive title.

An operation absolutely from Empoli for a fee of about 2 million and engagement. Donsah arrived in Italy in 2011 by going to the Palermo youth teams, then for him experiences in Verona and Cagliari before wearing the Bologna shirt. However, Donsah's last two seasons were spent on loan, first in the second team in Bruges and then, as mentioned, in Turkey.

Fast and technical midfielder, central but can play as a midfielder on both right and left. Very skilled both in the interdiction phase and in the push phase, he has always claimed to be inspired by Radja Nainggolan. As always in these cases, we will better understand the concreteness and feasibility in the coming days. The interest, however, is confirmed.
