The youngster has already played for all the junior national teams of France and was tipped to follow up and play for Les Bleus at some points.

However, after several considerations, Enock Kwarteng has decided to embrace his Ghanaian nationality and play for the Black Stars team instead.

In line with that, the full-back is expected to go through all the formalities with FIFA to complete his switch to play for the West African country.

Once all that paperwork is completed, Kwarteng will be eligible for a call-up to the Ghana senior national team whenever there is an international assignment.
