Ghana forward, Kamaldeen Sulemana has returned to Stade Rennais training after a long injury lay-off.
The former Right to Dream Academy graduate has been in the injury room since mid-February.
The 19-year-old winger picked up the injury two weeks before Ghana’s crucial 2022 World Cup play-off match against Nigeria and missed the double-header as the Black Stars booked a ticket to Qatar.
His return is too soon for the away game against Nantes on Wednesday but is in contention to make a return on Saturday when they take on Marseille.
Sulemana has played 20 games for Rennais in Ligue 1 season, scoring four goals since joining from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland last summer.
He is expected to return to the Black Stars squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.
