English Premier League outfit Crystal Palace are in talk with Ghanaian midfielder Jeffery Schlupp over contract renewal.

The current contract of the 30-year-old runs out in the summer and it is said talks are underway to extend his deal.

Since joining the club, he has established himself as a key cog to Crystal Palace and is expected to extend his stay at the club.

The Ghana international has made 191 appearances for Crystal Palace since his arrival in 2017, scoring 16 goals and providing 14 assists in the process.

This season, he has featured 27 times in the Premier League, scoring two goals for his outfit.

Despite his fine form, he has consistently been overlooked by the technical handlers of the Black Stars.

He was excluded from the squad that featured at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where Ghana exited at group stage.

Since his debut in 2011, Schlupp has featured 20 times for the Black Stars, scoring just a goal.
