Ghana international Ernest Asante was named MVP on Monday evening after his outstanding displays for Omonia Nicosia in the big win against AEK Larnaca.

The exciting forward was named in the starting eleven of his team when they played as a guest to the matchday 16 opponent of the Cypriot Division 1 league.

In a game played at the AEK Arena, Ernest Asante dazzled and netted a brace to power Omonia Nicosia to a 3-0 win against AEK Larnaca.

At the end of the match, the in-form forward picked up the MVP award after winning 46.9% of the vote

This season, the 32-year-old attacker has featured in 16 matches for Omonia Nicosia and now has six goals to his name. He has been tipped to go on to help his team challenge for the Cypriot top-flight league title at the end of the season.
