Europa League: Ghana star Mohammed Kudus features in Ajax’s goalless draw against Union Berlin

Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus was in action for Ajax on Thursday night when the team locked horns with Union Berlin in the Europa League.

The talented Black Stars talisman started for his club in the first leg of the Round 32 encounter against the German Bundesliga opposition.

In a game played at the Amsterdam Arena, Mohammed Kudus played as the attacking midfielder for Ajax.

While the home team would dominate the first half in possession terms, the team could not create the needed chances to find the back of the Union Berlin night.

Although the German Bundesliga club would score in the second half, the goal was ruled out after VAR found out there was a handball incident in the build-up.

In today’s game, Mohammed Kudus lasted the entire 90 minutes.

Following the goalless draw, Ajax and Union Berlin have it all to play for in the second leg next week.
