Everton sponsors SportPesa angered fans after celebrating Arsenal's win on Sunday.
The Liverpool Echo reports SportPesa's official Twitter account tweeted a congratulatory message to the visitors saying: “Well in #Gunners! A superb gift by the players for the birthday gaffer!"
The Kenyan betting company took over from Chang Beer as Everton's official shirt sponsors at the start of this campaign.
They also have a partnership agreement with Arsenal, along with Hull City. The tweet was sent from SportPesa's Kenyan Twitter account, and not their UK office.
