Everton identify ex-BVB boss Tuchel as primary target to replace Koeman

Everton have made former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel their number one choice to take over as manager.

The German has been unemployed since he quit the Dortmund post at the end of last season.

The Mirror reports that contact has already been made with the 44-year-old's representatives, but it is understood Tuchel does not want to rush a decision.

Toffees U23 boss David Unsworth, also a contender for the job, will take charge for this weekend's trip to Stamford Bridge after Ronald Koeman was sacked on Monday.

It is understood he may stay at the helm until the international break in two week's time.
