Everton are reportedly set to secure the signature of Charlton winger Ademola Lookman, beating rivals Liverpool and Arsenal to a deal.

According tothe Sun, the 19-year-old will be the Toffees first signing of the January transfer window and will cost £10m.

Lookman has made 48 appearances for League One side Charlton since making his debut against MK Dons in November last year.

He arrived at Charlton's academy in 2014 from non-league side Waterloo FC and has gone on to represent England at both Under-19 and Under-20 level.

He has been a stand out performer this season with the Addicks sitting in a fairly underwhelming 12th place.

Liverpool and Arsenal had both been keeping tabs on the highly ratedteenager, but they seem to have missed out to Ronald Koeman's Everton.

Lookman is believed to have opted for a move to the Blues after being assured of first team football with Yannick Bolasie ruled out for the rest of the season through injury.

Koeman is also reportedly planning a move for West Brom striker Saido Berahino who is entering the last six months of his contract.

The 23-year-old striker will be able to talk to other clubs next month, and is expected to receive offers from abroad.

Everton will attempt to persuade him with Premier League football, with the likes of Roma, Inter Milan and Nice rumoured to be interested.
