EXCLUSIVE: Alaves boss De Biasi waiting on crocked Stoke loanee Bojan

Gianni De Biasi is eager to see what Bojan can bring to his Alaves side once he returns from a thigh injury.

The Stoke City attacker arrived in Spain on deadline day, signing with the Basque club on a season-long loan deal.

Bojan, who also graduated from Barcelona's La Masia academy, suffered the thigh injury against Villarreal in just his third game for the club and five days before De Biasi replaced Luis Zubeldia at the helm.

De Biasi told Tribal Football: "Unfortunately, Bojan is injured so I haven't had the chance to see him on the pitch, yet."

The Italian, who only took the job two weeks ago, inherited a team who had lost their opening five La Liga matches. Fortunately for Di Biasi, he was able to clinch his first win as Alaves boss last Saturday with an impressive 2-0 away win at Levante.
