Ghana forward, Emmanuel Boateng has been ruled for the start of the 2018/19 La Liga season after sustaining an injury in the friendly against Bournemouth last Friday.

The UD Levante goal poacher suffered a discomfort to the inner knee and had to be withdrawn in the first half of the game, the match ended 4-3 in favor of the English team.
However, Boateng successfully underwent a surgery at the Quirón hospital by Dr. Ernesto Fernández on Wednesday.

It is believed that Boateng will be sidelined between 4 and 6 weeks.
He played 25 games last season and scored 7 goals including his famous hat-trick against Spanish Champions FC Barcelona.
