Footballghana.com can exclusively confirm that Ghanaian international Joseph Aidoo has recovered from his head injury and has been cleared to feature for Celta Vigo when they come up against Espanyol later this week.
The center-back sustained the injury in Vigo’s last La Liga match when they traveled to the Wanda Metropolitano and drew goalless with Atletico Madrid last weekend.
Upon further checks and treatment from the club’s medical team, the former KRC Genk defender has been cleared fully fit to feature in their upcoming clash with Espanyol on Thursday evening.
He was able to hit the gym on Monday and has trained with his teammates today as they continue preparations for the upcoming fixture.
Joseph Aidoo’s return to full fitness give Celta Vigo a huge boost in their quest to properly challenge the big guns for an improved finish on the Spanish La Liga table at the end of the season.
