Footballghana.com can exclusively report that Serbian giant Red Star Belgrade is interested in signing Ghanaian international Godfred Donsah.
The hardworking Bologna midfielder is currently on loan at Belgian top-flight side Cercle Brugge where he is spending a full season. Midway through his stay, the Black Stars asset is now thought to be a transfer target of Red Star Belgrade.
His services could be secured on a permanent basis before the January Transfer window shuts if the Serbian club’s pursuit of Seku Sanogo fails. The club has been in talks with the midfielder who is based in Saudi Arabia at the moment. Despite smooth talks earlier, it is now being reported that the deal to bring Seku to Red Star could backfire.
In line with that, they have identified Godfred Donsah as a replacement to help them achieve their aim of clinching the Serbian top-flight title at the end of the season.
