Experienced coach David Duncan linked to Hearts of Oak

Experienced coach David Duncan has been linked with a possible move to Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak to take over from Kim Tyrone Grant.

The Phobians parted ways with the Uefa License coach on Tuesday evening citing that he has been relieved of his post as the club’s Director of Football and first-team head coach.

The news came as a bit of a surprise to many who believed that the club has made a panic sack due to Hearts of Oak's defeat at the hands of Berekum Chelsea in the opening weekend of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

While the search for a new coach continues, Youth trainer Edward Nii Odoom has been mandated to take charge of the Rainbow lads for the interim.

It is now understood that the Accra-based club is considering a move for former coach David Duncan.

The veteran gaffer coached the side between 2012 and 2013 before he was shown the exit door.
