Brazilian midfielder, Fabio Dos Santos Gama will miss the team's encounter against Techiman Eleven Wonders on the opening weekend of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Brazil U-20 star was signed by the Porcupine Warriors club in the transfer window on a free transfer to give the club a major squad boost for the new football season.
Weeks on, Fabio Dos Santos Gama has been unable to link up with his new teammates in Ghana with reports suggesting that he is working on his documentation.
With the latest report indicating that the midfielder will not arrive in Ghana until next week Monday, it has become impossible for him to play any part in Asante Kotoko's clash against Techiman Eleven Wonders this weekend.
Meanwhile, midfielder Muniru Sulley has trained with Asante Kotoko today and is in line to enjoy minutes for the team on Sunday when they return to action in the Ghana Premier League.
