Karela United head coach, Bismark Kobby Mensah has reiterated that he was left disappointed following the stalemate with Asante Kotoko.

The Nzema based club hosted the Porcupine Warriors in the matchday five games at the CAM Park on Sunday.

Despite Richard Boadu being sent off, Karela United still failed to hurt the Reds.

After dropping two points, Kobby Mensah said he aimed at beating Prosper Narteh Ogum's side but lauded his players despite failing to win.

"I am disappointed with the results because we dominated the game and possessed the game and I was expecting that we win on top of that," he said after the game.

"I said before the game that Asante Kotoko are not a special club and they are beatable and that was exactly what we wanted to do but we could not but I am pleased with how my players.

"We will go back to the drawing board and ensure we win our next game," the young gaffer added.

Karela United sit 10th on the league log and will be hosted by Elmina Sharks in the matchday 6 games this weekend at the Ndoum Sports Complex.
