Asante Kotoko in-form striker Abdul Fatawu Safiu has refused to rule out a move to bitter rivals Hearts of Oak in the future

Despite the fact that his recent comments would incur the wrath of Kotoko fans, the goal poacher would consider a move to Accra based side.

The 24-year-old has been an integral part of the Porcupine Warriors since joining the club last year.

Fatawu has scored an incredible eight goals and provided seven assists in 11 appearances for Kotoko in the ongoing Normalisation Committee Special Competition.

“I respect every club in Ghana including Hearts of Oak, I just want to play football it doesn’t really matter where," he told Footballmadeinghana.com

“I will not say yes or no but it will depend on Kotoko management. If they give me permission to go, I will sign but if they want me to continue at the club I can’t refuse”, he added.

The former Inter Allies attacker has previously played for Vimmerby IF, Portland Timbers and the Vancouver Whitecaps.
