For a team like Hearts of Oak who were pre-match perceived to be weak, out of form, and inconsistent to play like this, then we won this game in reality.*

We were told we would be beaten by 3-0, 4-0, 5-0 but we even rather nearly won this game in the first half if we converted our chances.

If Awako had slid pass that ball to Barnieh again after the latter flipped it to him, that was the first goal and match-winner for us but it's all good.

The only positive from this game is my confidence that we have our PERFECT STARTING XI now. So now please no experiment again Mr. Boadu, let's keep this set-up that played today against arguably the best team in the league and use them in the second round consistently for consistent results. We can still make it in the second round to reclaim the league or be in the Top 4.

Massive salute to all the players for their hardwork, determination, and commitment. This is their best game this season.

Abdul Aziz Nurudeen Abdul Aziz Nurudeen Abdul Aziz Nurudeen, what a player, my God!

He has finally filled in our missing link in the team which has been the defensive midfield role which always destabilized our team throughout Africa and the first round. May God protect this guy seriously for us. Amen!

*Interestingly, people don't know and have even forgotten he used to be a starter and play ahead of Benjamin Afutu but got injured which gave Afutu the mileage to shine later in his absence. Thank God he is back and I pray for injury-free for him in the second season.*

And wow Dennis Korsah, ball and sense paaa nie. Such a player was playing in Division 1 league. If I were Hearts management, this player should be signed for another 3 years in addition to his already contract.

*One thing I have realized is that, when you have a defensive setup of 4 and even just 1 out of the 3 is weak, it affects the whole defense and makes them look bad. Denkyi has always been our weakest link and since Korsah came, our defense has been super solid.*

Not to forget Richard Attah's presence. He has reaffirmed his position as the No. 1 every day. If he is fit, he should be in post, no challenger. Great goalkeeper.

*This is the best well managed tactically game by Coach Samuel Boadu in terms of everything, for instance, substitution, etc...*

ALL SAID AND DONE, IT WAS A GREAT MATCH AND I ENJOYED IT.
