FIFA orders Egyptian club to pay $900,000 to Ghanaian striker Diawusie Taylor

Egyptian club, Future FC has been ordered to pay an amount of $900,000 to Ghanaian striker, Diawusie Taylor.

This emerged after FIFA's Dispute Resolution Chamber find the club for unlawfully terminating the contract of the former Karela United striker.

The club have been asked to pay the said amount to the player within 45 days or they will be suspended from player registration for three transfer windows.

Taylor joined the club in 2021 in a reported 3-year deal but struggled to find his feet in the North African country.

Taylor, 23, has spent time on loan at Sudanese side, Al Merriekh but equally failed to glitter leading to a termination of the loan move.

Taylor was the top scorer in the Ghanaian top-flight for the 2020/2021 campaign having scored 18 goals in 31 appearances for Karela United.
