Firmino Valuation Could 'Double' if Reds Cash in on Brazilian According to Scout Who Discovered Him

Hoffenheim scout Lutz Pfannenstiel has said Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino's valuation will double within the next two-to-three years -the same scout who discovered Firmino playing in the second tier of Brazilian football and signed him for the German club - as reported by The Sun.

Firmino is one of Klopp's star men at Anfield with the Reds currently sitting top of the table. Although PhilipeCoutinho and Sadio Mane have grabbed the headlines, Firmino has gone under-the-radar this season, anddespite a tough time under Brendan Rodgers he's turned it around for the Reds.

Coutinho is attracting interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, with Barcelona and PSG the two front runners chasing his signature, but it's Firmino that Pfannenstiel is focusing on. Speaking to TalkSPORT, he said Liverpool can expect a handsome fee if they decide to cash in on the Brazilian, he said,

"In the end we (Hoffenheim) sold him for €42m plus (future) payments, so in the end I think we did it right.I think it's good scouting, definitely.

He added,"His value will probably be growing in the next two-three years. But with players from South America you never have a guarantee, because you don't know how they will develop. You don't have a clear idea."

The retired goalkeeper has high hopes for Firmino's future and with the 25-year-old already scoring six goals and getting himself six assists in the league and cup so far this season, the increased valuation could go up sooner than expected.
