Football Super Agent Mino Raiola Discusses Mario Balotelli - and Hints at Premier League Return

Outspoken footballing super agent Mino Raiola has claimed Mario Balotelli could make a shock return to the Premier League - despite his client only moving to French club Nice last summer.

The Italian has 'already held talks' with English clubs according to Raiola, who made the revelation to presenterJim White onradio station talkSPORT.

Balotelli endured a torrid time at Liverpool before making the switch to Ligue 1, wherehe has re-discovered his form and come into a purple patch that has seen him bag10 goals in 13 games.

Despite a great start to life at his new club, Raiola admitted his client'sfuture was still undecided.

He told talkSport: "There could be [a Premier League return].We've already had talks with English clubs, but it's really too early to say. We want to keep it day-by-day with Mario. For Mario I always knew it [his return to form] will come. He was in his last year at Liverpool and he was very stable and not so emotional any more."

Never one to hold back, Raiola also took a swipe at Balotelli's old boss and current Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp over his treatment of the player.

Klopp was swift to nail his colours to the mast regarding the 26-year-old, making it clear that he wasn't going to be part of his plans - amove that Raiola felt was an unfair judgement of his man.

He added: "I still think it's a shame that Klopp didn't give him a fair chance, but Mario is proving to himself, more than to others, what he can do.

"It's his career - I think he understands a lot of things and he knows what he did as a mistake in the past. But it's useless to look back, it's only useful to look forward."

Raiola masterminded the transfers of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba for a world record feeto Manchester Unitedlast summer, firmly establishing him as one of the football's most successful and high-profile agents.
