The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt E.S Okraku has stressed that no shady deal will happen under his watch as he remains the leader of the body.

The owner of Dreams Football Club (FC) was elected as the new leader of the country’s football governing body In August 2019 after beating the likes of George Afriyie, Nana Yaw Amponsah, and some others.

Following the recent agreement with Macron local dealer as the official ball supplier to the GFA, many have raised questions with some indicating that there is something fishy about the deal.

Speaking to Max Radio, Kurt Okraku has emphasized the Macron deal is clean. According to him, no shady deals will happen during his tenure as the boss of the GFA.

“It's not a shoddy deal and there will be no shoddy deal under my watch, sorry. If somebody is expecting any shoddy deals to short-change the FA under watch, then the person is worrying himself. It will not happen”, he said.

He further stressed, “Every due diligence was done and Macron balls will soon arrive in this country for us to use”.

The GFA has signed a three-year deal worth with GH¢1.6m with a supplier and will be receiving 5,000 balls and 1,500 pieces of bibs every season for the Ghana Premier League, MTN FA Cup, and the National Division One League.
