Former Asante Kotoko striker, Kwadwo Poku 'Mahala' has given the clearest indication that newly-appointed coach of the club, Paa Kwesi Fabin cannot turn things around for the club.

The former Inter Allies trainer has returned to the club eight years after being sacked for non-performance - signing a one-year deal with the FA Cup champions.

The former Ghana Under-17 was appointed to replace dismissed Steve Pollack but former striker Kwadwo Poku says Fabin can't solve the club's problems.

'I don't think sacking Pollack will solve Kotoko's problems because in the game in Kumasi Kotoko had four penalties. It wasn't the coach who missed them," he told Kumasi-based Silver FM

"It was the players so Pollack wasn't at fault. I don't think it was Fabin can solve the problems."

Poku has launched a scathing attack on the newly appointed coach of the club accusing him of taking bribes from players.
