Former Chelsea Star Believes Jurgen Klopp Won't Be Troubled Over Losing Sadio Mane to AFCON

Chelsea legend Tony Cascarino believes that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will not be too perturbed over the prospect of losing attacking star Sadio Mane to the African Cup of Nations in January, as reported byInside Futbol.

The attacking midfielder, who signed for the Reds from Southampton in the summer for£34m, making him the most expensive African player in history, has been a revelation at Anfield, scoring six times and assisting four goals in eleven appearances thus far this season.

But come January, the Senegalese internationalwill head over to Gabon to represent his nation and will miss a number of games, as Liverpool look to bolster their title charge.

However,Cascarino believes thatKlopp will not fret too much about losing the 24-year-old, since he already has a wide array of attacking options, in the form ofPhilippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana, whose playing styles are not dissimilar to that of Mane's.

He said:"If he would have had no one else to turn to, I would have said that would be a problem, he said on Radio City Talk.

But having a Lallana, having a Firmino, having a Coutinho gives him plenty of options.

I know sometimes he will play all four of them, but he has got other players who could do sensational things in similar positions at number 10.

He has got enough number 10s in there to not worry. But yes, he will not like to lose Mane.
