Ex-Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has been linked with Sudan national team job, according to reports in Sudan.

The 59-year-old has received an offer from the Sudan Football Federation to take over the national team in the coming days.

Sudan are currently coach-less after they parted ways with former Asante Kotoko and Croatian trainer Zdravko Logarusic in December last year.

Coach Kwesi Appiah's tenure as the head coach of the Black Stars came to a few days ago following the expiration of his contract and the dissolution of the technical teams of all national teams with immediate effect by the Ghana Football Association.

The 59-year-old has already coached in Sudan, having been in charge of Al-Khartoum Al Watani SC from 2014 to 2017 where he led the club to the CAF Confederation Cup qualifications.

If coach Kwesi Appiah gets appointed as Sudan's head coach, he will be facing Ghana in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in August 2020.
