Francis Amuzu is completely ready for Sunday's game against Gent - Anderlecht coach Brian Riemer

Anderlecht's Francis Amuzu has bounced back from a week of battling various minor ailments, poised to take on Gent this Sunday.

Coach Brian Riemer voiced his confidence in Amuzu's recovery during a press conference, applauding the midfielder's formidable attacking prowess as a formidable asset in the upcoming match.

"There are many stories surrounding Francis," Riemer said.

"The fact is that in the last six weeks he had a lot of small problems. Nothing really serious, that's why he couldn't start in some games. Also, he didn't always train. I tried to save him a little time so he could recover.

"He trained all week. In a long time he never felt better than he does now. That's good news. He's completely ready for Sunday's game.

"That's why we now puzzle over whether to change our team after good performances or not. Francis can hurt the opponent, especially if they are up front and there is a lot of room to run.

"The fact that Francis is not a 90-minute player. So it will depend on what he wants: to see him as a finisher or as a starter. That's something I will think about,"
