Francis Amuzu provides assist in Anderlecht defeat to Zulte Waregem

Francis Amuzu provided an assist in Anderlecht's 3-2 defeat to Zulte Waregem on Wednesday evening in the Belgian Pro League.

Zinho Gano scored for Zulte Waregem in the 11th minute, but Benito Raman's first-half brace gave Anderlecht a 2-1 advantage at the break.

Amuzu set up his teammate Benito Raman for his second goal against Zulte Waregem in the 36th minute, after the Belgian striker had leveled the score a minute earlier.

Two second-half goals from Alioune Ndour and Alieu Fadera in the 62nd and 75th minutes, respectively, kept Zulte Waregem's escaping relegation chances alive.

Francis Amuzu and his compatriot Majeed Ashimeru played full throttle against Zulte Waregem.

Anderlecht's crisis continues the Mauves find themselves in 12 position with 24 points after 21 games. Their next game in the Belgian Pro League will be against RFC Seraing away.

Francis Amuzu was booked a few seconds to full time for simulation. The 23-year-old winger has made 19 appearances, scored three goals and assisted three in the Belgian top flight.
