FC Metz have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Benjamin Tetteh from English Championship side Hull City.

The 26-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the newly promoted French Ligue One outfit.

Confirming the signing, FC Metz stated, "The offensive sector of FC Metz has a new element, in the person of Benjamin Tetteh! Coming from Hull City (English D2), the striker has signed up for the next three seasons for the garnet club. The Ghanaian is therefore tied to Garnets until June 2026."

Benjamin Tetteh's move to Metz comes after his time at Hull City, where he faced a series of unfortunate setbacks due to injuries.

His transfer marks a fresh start for the forward, as he aims to make an immediate impact in the French top-flight.

The transfer fee for Tetteh's switch to FC Metz is reported to be approximately £1.5 million.

Tetteh's acquisition is expected to provide a boost to the offensive capabilities of FC Metz as they prepare for the upcoming season.

He joined Hull City from Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor on a free transfer in July 2022.

Despite the injury setbacks, Tetteh managed to contribute one goal and four assists in 17 appearances in the English Championship, accumulating a total of 811 minutes.
