French second division side Chamois Niortais have completed the signing of Ghanaian youngster Godwin Bentil from Le Havre AC on transfer deadline day.

The 20-year-old has penned a three-year deal with the club after successful negotiations.
Last season, he scored two goals in seven Ligue 2 matches.

Bentil was linked with a move to several clubs in Europe including Belgian side Club Brugge but he opted to join the French side.
The highly-rated forward was a member of Ghana's Under-17 squad which qualified for the CAF U-17 Championship in Niger but failed to make the squad after failing a mandatory MRI scan.
