Hearts of Oak promising talent Gideon Asante Yeboah has shed light on the difficulties the team faced during the 2022-23 season, attributing some of the struggles to frequent changes in head coaches.
Speaking to the press ahead of the team's pre-season preparations, Yeboah said that the constant shifts in coaching personnel had an adverse impact on the team's performance.
He acknowledged that the team encountered several challenges and did not meet the standards expected of them, especially by fans of the team.
Hearts of Oak SC, a prominent football club in Ghana, experienced a season marred by inconsistency and underperformance. The team underwent several coaching changes, which inevitably created instability and affected the players' rhythm on the field.
“Change in coaches affected us but as players, we did our best for the team. Truth be told, we just didn’t have a good season,” he said in an interview as quoted by Sportsworldghana.
He added that, “We will correct our mistakes and bounce back next season.”
