Ghana Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oak has defeated lower division side Patron Sporting Club (SC) 4-1 in a friendly match as they continue preparations in anticipation to the return of the local league.

In a match played at the Pobiman Park on Wednesday morning, the Phobians enjoyed a good exercise and emerged as big winners to dispatch their opponent.

Hardworking attacker Kofi Kordzi bagged a brace for the Premier League giants with academy product Michelle Sarpong and Raddy Ovouka also getting on the scoresheet for the Rainbow boys.

Patron SC netted their consolation courtesy a strike from Randoph Nettey.

This is the second win in the space of four days for Hearts of Oak following their 2-1 win over Rock Star FC.

Kim Grant and his technical team used the match to test their strength as they intensify preparations for their crunch meeting with bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko in the 2019 President Cup on September 8 at the Baba Yara Sports stadium.
