Fully fit Daniel Amartey in line to feature for Leicester City when EPL resumes

Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey has fully recovered from his injury and is now in line to feature for Leicester City when the English Premier League return next month.

In June 2018, the Black Stars asset suffered an ankle injury that required surgery. After going under the needle, he was ruled out of action for at least 6 months.

In line with that, he missed the first round of the 2019/2020 English Premier League campaign. Though he recovered for the second round, he picked up another knock in a training match with the reserve team of the Foxes.

The injury setbacks have meant he has not been able to make an appearance for Leicester City in the English Premier League this season.

After two months break due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, the Ghanaian has now regained his full fitness and has begun training with his teammates.

Footballghana.com can report that Daniel Amartey is available for selection and should be ready to feature for his club when the EPL resumes on June 18.

Meanwhile, he is set to leave Leicester at the end of the season with FC Copenhagen said to be his likely destination.
