Gerard Nus issues rallying cry to Ghana supporters ahead of AFCON

A former member of Ghana’s coaching team, Gerard Nus has issued a rallying cry ahead of next Month’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The Spaniard employed Ghanaians to throw their weight of support behind the Black Stars as they seek to end their 37-year wait for an African title.

“Please to all people of #Ghana: now it is time to be united. Let’s all support the BlackStars and his staff as it will help to bring the to all of you. You deserve it,” he tweeted.

“I would be supporting you guys 100%?? Just positive things now to face the @AFCON2O19 “ @ghanafaofficial.”

Coach Kwesi Appiah announced a provisional 29-man squad on Wednesday.

The team will leave Ghana on June 1 to Dubai for a pre-tournament camp before the competition begins on June 20.
