GFA Presidential elections to held on October 25

Ghana Football Association Presidential elections will be held on October 25, 2019, Footballghana.com can report.

According to the Normalisation Committee, the much-anticipated elections are scheduled for next month.

A letter sighted by Footballghana.com from the NC states that the abovementioned date will also serve as the day to swear in the President-elect to rule the Association for a four-year period.

The Regional FA Chairpersons and Ghana FA executive council elections will also be held on October 18 and 24 respectively.

Several personalities including Kurt Okraku, Winfred Osei Palmer, Fred Pappoe, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Toni Aubynn have all declared their intentions to contest for the GFA Presidential seat.

The GFA presidential seat has been vacant since Kwesi Nyantakyi was handed a lifetime ban from all football-related activities by FIFA on June 2018.
