GFA sends delegation to visit injured Asante Kotoko supporter

A delegation from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) visited the supporter of Asante Kotoko who was shot by a Police Officer at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium over the weekend.

The fan who has been identified as Augustine Oppong was shot after the Porcupine Warriors were defeated 1-0 by Berekum Chelsea on Match Week 3 of the Ghana Premier League season.

Earlier today, the GFA sent a four-man delegation to visit the injured supporter at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The delegation was led by Executive Committee member Linford Asamoah Boadu. Other members who made the trip include Premier League Board Vice Chairman Jesse Agyapong and Ashanti Regional Football Association chairman, Osei Tutu Agyemang.
