The forward missed his team’s opening match of the season last weekend when they faced Werder Bremen on matchday one of the 2021/2022 German Bundesliga 2.

Back from his quarantine after recovering from Covid-19, Patrick Twumasi was given minutes in the friendly against SC Preußen Munster to assess his fitness.

On the matchday, the attacker, unfortunately, failed to turn up as he made a number of misplaced passes.

As a result, he is not expected to be in the starting eleven of Hannover 96 this weekend when they take on Hansa Rostock.

He will need to continue working hard to get on the good side of coach Jan Zimmermann.

Last season, Patrick Twumasi made 22 appearances for Hannover 96 as he scored three goals and provided two assists.
