Ghana international Baba Rahman is counting on Reading FC fans amidst the clubs relegation battle this season.

Reading are currently in the relegation drop following points deduction for failing to satisfy a business plan agreed upon after breaching the EFL's Profit and Sustainability limits in the past.

The Royals are 22nd on the league standings with 41 points after 41 matches into the campaign.

With eight games to end the season, the Black Stars defender has assured the club fans of relegation survival.

Rahman took to social media, urging the fans to support the team as they seek to survive the drop at the end of the season.

“That was a tough result for us in a tough week but I thought I’d ask who is still awake so we channel energy and make it work for us in the remaining games. They’re finals for us all. We need you all to pull through with us. Up the Ding 🛎️ 🔵⚪️”

Baba Rahman who is on loan from Chelsea has been out of action for sometime at Reading due to an injury setback.

Since joining the club last summer, the Black Stars lefty-back has made 18 appearances in the Championship.
