Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu makes full recovery from injury

There is some great news for the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

This is because highly-rated defender Mohammed Salisu has fully recovered from his injury.

The centre-back has not featured in any game since the latter part of the 2022/23 football season when he was on the books of Southampton.

At the end of that campaign, Mohammed Salisu secured a transfer to AS Monaco but unfortunately had to spend time on the sidelines due to a recurring injury.

After battling with the injury for months, Mohammed Salisu has now fully recovered and is set to feature for his French Ligue 1 club in the clash against PSG on Friday, November 24.

Today, the defender has been named in the AS Monaco squad for the trip to the French capital tomorrow.

Ghanaians will hope that he stays fit in the upcoming weeks to ensure he gets a place in the Black Stars squad for the 2023 AFCON.
