Ghana defender Nicholas Opoku ruled out of Amiens SC’s game against Clermont today

Ghana international, Nicholas Opoku has been ruled out of action for at least a week and will hence not be in action on Wednesday afternoon when his Amiens SC side takes on Clermont Foot.

The defender joined the French Ligue 2 outfit last summer in a loan deal from Italian side Udinese to ensure he gets to play regularly to help his development.

Since the start of the 2020/2021 football season, he has excelled in various defensive positions and is currently regarded as one of the top players at the club.

As Amiens SC prepares to lock horns with Clermont Foot today, Nicholas Opoku has been sidelined as a result of the injury he picked up while in action against Rodez last weekend.

The centre-back suffered a knock and as a result, has a problem with his knee. Although the medical team of the club says it is nothing serious, the Black Stars player is sidelined for at least a week.
