Ghana international, Stephan Ambrosius is a doubt for Hamburg SV this weekend when the team returns to action in the German Bundesliga 2.
The defender this week complained of pain in his thigh and has not been active in his team’s training.
On Tuesday, he was present during his team’s training but only walked around in normal clothes.
According to information gathered from reports in Germany, Stephen Ambrosius is still feeling the pains in his thigh and looks set to miss the game between Hamburg SV and Holstein Kiel this weekend.
That game is scheduled to be played on Saturday, November 11.
Meanwhile, Stephan Ambrosius is also out of Ghana’s squad for the first round of the games in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana takes on Madagascar and Comoros on November 17 and 21 respectively.
Hamburg SV is hoping that Stephan Ambrosius will fully recover after the November international break.
