Former Bechem United coach Kwaku Danso has rejected claims that Ghana football has collapsed considering the performance of the teams in the Ghana Premier League.
Some Ghanaians over the years have said that their sudden love for foreign football to the neglect of the local league competitions is because the local leagues are not competitive.
But Kwaku Danso in an interview with Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com has downplayed such claims, insisting Ghana football has not collapsed.
“The performance of the teams in the Ghana Premier League is on top. I believe the participating teams are doing well”
“Anytime I visit a league centre, I look at two things, the performance of the teams and officiating and judging from these two, I believe our game is not on the low. People claim our football has collapsed but isn’t the truth” he said.
