Ghana forward Christian Atsu excited after joining Turkish Super Lig side Hatayspor

Ghana international Christian Atsu has reacted to his completed move to Turkish Super Lig side Hatayspor.

The former Chelsea attacker on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, signed a one-year deal with the club with the option to extend for another year next summer.

“We signed a 1+1 year contract with experienced right and left winger Christian Atsu, who previously played for clubs such as Everton, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Porto and Malaga. The signing ceremony was attended by our Honorary President, Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Lütfü Savaş joined.

“We welcome Christian Atsu and wish him endless success with our burgundy and white jersey,” an official club statement from Hatayspor Kulübü has said today.

In a post on Twitter after inking the deal, Christian Atsu says he is excited and looks forward to the new chapter of his career.

“Thank you for making me feel so welcomed! Thank you President Doç.Dr.Lütfü Savaş, Mr Mehmet Guzel and everyone at @hatayspor excited for this new opportunity,” Christian Atsu posted on his Twitter page.
