Ghanaian international Jeffrey Schlupp was in action for Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon when the team suffered a 4-1 defeat to Arsenal in the English Premier League.

The versatile player started for the Eagles today in the Round 28 encounter of the ongoing 2022/23 English top-flight league campaign.

In a game played at Emirates Stadium, Arsenal dominated played and took the lead in the 28th minute through a strike from Gabriel Martinelli.

Later in the 43rd minute, an equalizer from in-form winger Bukayo Saka handed Arsenal a 2-goal lead to take into the first half break.

After recess, Granit Xhaka increased the tally for the home team when he scored to make it 3-0 for his team.

In the 63rd minute, Ghana midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp pulled on back for Crystal Palace in the only consolation goal for the side in the entire 90 minutes.

Before Full time, Bukayo Saka got his second of the afternoon to seal a massive 4-1 win for Arsenal. In the game today, Thomas Partey also featured for the home team.

Meanwhile, Jordan Ayew was a second half substitute for Crystal Palace as the team suffered the heavy defeat.
