Ghanaian goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi has parted ways with French second-tier side Sochaux in the on-going January transfer window.

Ati-Zigi has left the club after a two-year stint after reaching an agreement to exit on Thursday following days of negotiations over his future.

The 23-year-old has been the first-choice goalkeeper for Sochaux over the past few months following the injury Maxence Prevot who has been on the sidelines for some months.

The highly-rated youngster guided the club to finish 9th on the league table with some mouthwatering displays.

Following his impressive performances for the club, he was linked with a move to several clubs and is expected to seal a move in the coming days.

Sochaux have already signed experienced goalie Mehdi Jeannin as his replacement as they begin life after the Ghanaian.

He made 23 appearances for Sochaux since joining them in 2017.
